The hinterland of Imperia

 

 

Programme:

 

Day1:  

The Argentina and Aroscia Valleys are situated in the Southern Alps in the hinterland of the French

and Italian Riviera. The rail, road and airport networks from the UK to us are all very good,   

so  you have a big choice of how to get here. Fly to the nearest airports or take a train to the nearest train stations and then you either rent a car or make the transfer with us. Having a car in the valley is generally recommended.

We can arrange trains and rent cars for you or book flights.

We can also help with information and advice about airport parkings or airport hotels.

The nearest city is Nice, the nearest airport is Nice International Airport. the nearest TGV station

is Nice and the local train station is Ventimiglia (40mn from Nice)

Canyoning Argentina-Grognardo: difficult

Private microbus (10mn) to the entry of the Argentina. Lots of jumps (maxi 10m), toboggans (one of 10m ), abseiling (maxi 10m) at the end of the canyon we walk 15mn to do the Grognardo Canyon. Duration 4h, 10mn-walk, back 20mn.

Picnic before the canyoning (during the canyoning we take high calorie food)

 

Transfer by bus to get to the village of Verdegia (15mn), accomodation in a hotel in rooms from 1 to 3 places, bed linen provided and toilet bags

 

Day 2: Canyoning infernetto:  very difficult

The day run consists of more than 20 abseilings and you should be very experienced and in excellent physical shape to endure this activity.

Transfer by car to the entry of the canyon (10mn)

Jumps (maxi 8m), 20 abseilings (maxi 30m). Duration 6h, 10mn-walk, picnic in the canyon (during the canyoning we also take high-calorie food)

 

Difficulty: This sports  activity  is available  to people in good physical shape with strong sensations guaranteed. The knowledge of the rope technique is not necessary. Your guide,  who will always be at your disposal, will teach you in a short time. You must be a good swimmer however.

 

Equipment: The personal equipment  should include:  one pair of tennis shoes  for walking  in the water  and  one swimsuit. The rest of the equipment will be supplied according to the personal  information you will give: your size and your weight.

 

Availability:  from June to September

 

Group:  Alone or with a group (1 guide for every 8 persons)

 

Price: 162€ per person

 

Included: the guide, the equipment, the transfers, 2 picnics,  1 dinner, 1 breakfast, the insurance
